16 Quick Delicious St. Patrick’s Day Recipe’s
Hey, hey, everyone! If you caught our Valentine’s Day Recipe Roundup I mentioned that we would be back with another recipe roundup from around the world. Here we are, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day!
Luck of the Irish! So they say…….you will need little luck today as we have your party planned and ready to go. From appetizers to delectable desserts, they are here for the taking.
Hailing from the “ey” Kelley’s of Ireland, St. Patrick’s Day holds a very special place in my heart and reminds of my Grandmother whom I love, admire and miss dearly. I love this time of year when everything is green, family is abundant and we all get to eat together and enjoy each other’s company. Eating is an event and there are few who do it like the Irish.
I’ve teamed up with 15 other amazing food bloggers and let me tell you….they brought their A-game!
Without further ado, let’s get started!
To start things off, Jenna over at The Urben Life has whipped up the perfect appetizer with her Homemade Spinach Hummus and guess what!? No Tahini needed. Sometimes, I just don’t have any in the kitchen but crave hummus. This is perfect for those times and anytime your hummus craving kicks in.
Dene’ over at Biscuits and Savvy has the most adorable Shepherd’s Pie. This is too pretty….but I’d eat it anyway! Just look at the plating on this bad boy. Can you say Party Dish? Absolutely!
Heather, over at The Messy Little Kitchen has brought us an Irish Stew in the Instant Pot! HOORAY for pressure cookers. Check out her awesome trick for cooking with alcohol in the pressure cooker. This is key, guys.
I want these made and sent to me…. Chava, over at Almost Kosher, never disappoints and the same holds true on this roundup. Check out her Chocolate Stout Hamantaschen. There is something about these that is Hyrulean that I love. Any Zelda lovers out there? Just me? Okay, well trust me – some Hyrulean magic is happening in these. She brings two holidays together in this beautiful cookie…Purim and St. Patrick’s Day. Genius.
Ashly, over at The Good, The Bad, and The Poopy has brought the luck to our party with these Luck of The Irish Cupcakes! Topped with the gold of the Leprechaun these little gems are adorable!
Laurance over at Laurance Makano has made this to die for Irish Cream Bundt Cake and I’m ready to lick the glaze off the spoon! Irish Cream Liquor in the cake, in the glaze, in a glass if you want with some coffee…….deliciousness!
If you need to tone down the sweetness from above and head to the savory side, Rabz over at Dr. How and Why has knocked it out of the park with this Cream of Spinach Soup. Made with simple ingredients that turn magically delicious when brought together.
Ashlyn over at Right Meow or Never gets super creative finding ways to coax her little one into more nutrition. The Kiwi in this Super Simple Shamrock Smoothie does the trick quite nicely. Thirsty!
Carla over at Carla Crudup brings us Irish Stew made with Stout. She starts this out on the stovetop and finishes it up in the oven. Stew perfection. Short Rib Love. All kinds of happiness in this one.
Leeonney over at Leshe Style brings us an amazing dish for one of natures most underrated veggies. My love of Brussels came the moment I roasted them and they caramelized. Leeonney pairs these gorgeous little cabbage relatives with an orange vinaigrette to die for. Check out her Caramelized Brussels with Orange Vinaigrette
Dawn over at Our Food Fix has knocked down the door with this absolutely stunning Paleo Shepherd’s Pie. With the low carb veggie mash on top and the hearty goodness below, this dish is perfect for any day of the week.
Tabitha over at Tabitha Talks Food had me with “thin mint” I am an AVID thin mint lover and search out anything I can make at home that tastes like them. Check out her Mint Oreo Truffles and enter a stage of bliss. Well, that’s what I’ll be doing.
Daniela over at Vienista has my healthy heart. I secretly long to be a vegetarian and she continues to inspire. These Avocado Deviled Eggs are beautiful and I’m sure absolutely luxurious.
Karyl over at Karyl’s Kulinary Krusade has my taste buds salivating with this flavor combination (bacon, it’s the culprit of my ever failing vegetarian wanna be lifestyle, lol). Cabbage, Bacon, and Potatoes! There is something about the pairing of these ingredients that is like matrimony for the mouth. I will be making these for sure.
Caroline over at Att Vara Vass brings you, not only in English but in Sweedish as well, Shamrock Lasagna. I don’t know about you but the idea of eating something by that name just makes me want to dig in. I love lasagna and this looks absolutely fabulous.
And last but not least, in true shameless self-promotion, I bring you traditional Irish Soda Bread. Not only offering tradition but also allergy-free versions and a fun beer cheese version that is very much not traditional. Pairing the bread with a compound butter of Tarragon, as well as blackberry preserves, and honey. Simple perfection that is Irish Soda Bread.
There you have it, you guys! I hope you have an amazing celebration this year full of awesome food and amazing memories.
“May your thoughts be as glad as the shamrocks. May your heart be as light as a song. May each day bring you bright, happy hours. That stay with you all the year long.” – Irish Blessing
